01Ansgari Haus
Bremer Carrée
The modern and high-quality steel glass facade with decorative glass on the ground floor and first floor makes the “Bremer Carrée” with the two building parts Ansgari Haus and Obern Haus an eye-catcher in Bremen’s city centre.
Those who go shopping come here or pass here: to Obernstraße, the longest shopping mile in Bremen’s city centre in the middle of the pedestrian zone, which together with the adjacent Sögestraße is Bremen’s busiest location. As early as the Middle Ages, the streets with their many facets and character were among the most important tributaries of Bremen today.
To take account of the historic location at Ansgarikirchhof, part of the Bremer-Carrée ensemble is renamed Ansgari Haus.
Obernstraße, as well as the entire city, is part of the “Innenstadtkonzept 2025” of the city of Bremen, which should result in an even more concentrated and attractive range of new brands and store sizes in the future.
