Modern office property
The prestigious fund property “Facet” is located in the heart of the Dutch Randstad and features excellent transport connections: the A2 motorway is one of the country’s main arteries, connecting Utrecht to Amsterdam in the north and to Maastricht and the Ruhr area via Eindhoven in the south. In recent years, a new district (Leidsche Rijn) with apartments and a new town centre has developed around the fund property. A new train station, Leidsche Rijn, was also opened in the vicinity a few years ago.
The property is characterised by its state-of-the-art, aesthetic architecture. The prismatic shape of the glass façades is reminiscent of the facets of a gemstone. The office building in a prominent position on the A2 motorway is a stylistic showpiece in the centre of Utrecht’s modern development area. The entrance hall is elaborately designed as an atrium flooded with sunlight, featuring large glass surfaces and open vistas of the upper floor areas. A combination of precious natural stones and wooden elements enhances the image of contemporary architecture. The approximately 22,300 m² of office space can be partitioned flexibly and hence be used by several tenants.
Tenant
The main tenant of the fund property is Oracle Nederland, the Dutch subsidiary of the world’s largest business software company. The tenant established its headquarters in the fund property in 2011 and has already extended its lease ahead of schedule until 2028.
